We use a portion of those profits to invest in our people, our communities, and to do good in other parts of the world. DCI believes this is what good stewardship looks like and it is the heartbeat of our work.
Below are a few of the stories of how our employees are reaching beyond themselves to use our profits to care for each other, their communities, and the world’s most needy.
Crossroads Kids Club
Lylli Franco presented a DCI Community Cares Grant to Matt Armstrong and Kim Kline with Crossroads Kids Club. DCI is grateful to partner with Crossroads Kids Club and present them with a community grant. We appreciate the work they are doing in Memphis and other cities across the United States.
Crossroads Kids Club is a free, faith-based after-school program designed for elementary school children. Crossroads equips volunteers to share Bible stories, play fun games, sing songs, and help kids build strong character and positive relationships.Their goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where kids can learn about God’s love and grow in confidence, kindness, and connect their families to a church community.
Wounded Warrior
Bryan Robinson, Keith Paluso, and Michael Williamson presented a DCI Community Cares Grant to Sam Gregory with Wounded Warriors (Movement of Freedom Hunt). We consider it a privilege to partner with such a vital organization helping those that have served us.
Hope House
Matt Coles presented a DCI Community Cares Grant to Kim Gibbs and Kathy Duncan with Memphis City Seminary. DCI is grateful to partner with Hope House Ministries and present them with a community grant. We appreciate the work you are doing in West Memphis.
Hope House is a nonprofit food pantry that participates in the USDA Food program.
Bike Bald
Jason Bullens, Director of Sales at DCI, partnered with Bike Bald to present a DCI Community Cares Grant. We are proud partners with Bike Bald who are doing amazing work to help families in and around Oswego IL and the Kendall County areas that are affected by cancer.
Bike Bald is committed to enriching the lives of children affected by cancer and rare illnesses during the last 19 years. Throughout the year Bike Bald provides tutoring, therapy, classes and after school activities to help the children and their families.
The Arc of Northwest Mississippi
Michael Williamson presented a DCI Community Care Grant to Alexandria Sharif with The Arc of Northwest Mississippi.
The Arc of Northwest Mississippi is a non-profit serving the disability communities of Northwest Mississippi by offering programs, education, and connection to achieve the best life possible.
Send Relief
Tony Allen presented a DCI Community Care Grant to Shun Abram with Send Relief Mid-South.
Send Relief focuses on community outreach through the renovation of its ministry center at the Dwelling Place Church. Volunteers assist with projects like demolition, light construction, and supporting families in need.
